Fiona has been making miniatures for about ten years now. While
still in full time employment as an electronics engineer, she caught the miniatures bug when she made a dolls house shop
for her daughter. Finding it hard to buy the items she wanted to stock the shop with, she decided to make her own.
Since 2005 she has been selling her miniatures online, first with
the packaging, then food and now the turnings. While the children are at school, Fiona can be found in the workshop creating
lots of sawdust and hopefully a few miniatures too!
She now exhibits at both the Spring and Autumn Miniatura, which gives her a chance to
meet the customers, chat and make new friends.
Her husband Bob lends a hand too. Babysitting, addressing envelopes or helping at the fairs. He is also
her best (or worst) critic!
